Get a little history lesson in the middle of Heroes' Square (part of the World Heritage), and then have a refreshing walk in City Park. You get to know (among others) the Millenary Monument, the statues of the most popular Hungarian kings, the buildings of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Gallery, the Zoo, the Szchnyi Bath, the Vajdahunyad Castle.
Travel back in time by discovering the Castle District by walk. Most sights derive from the medieval ages and the whole area is part of the World Heritage. We visit the Matthias Church, the Fishermen's Bastion, the Sndor Palace, the buildings of the National Gallery and the Budapest History Museum while we walk along the ancient streets.
Walking in Downtown (3 hours)
Discover the famous and popular buildings and squares of the city centre. The tour starts from Kossuth Square and ends at Erzsbet (Elisabeth) Bridge. We visit the St. Stephen's Basilica, have a walk on the bank of the Danube and on Szabadsg and Vrsmarty Squares which are surrounded with fascinating buildings from the end of the 19th century.

Discover the most important sights of the city. We start our tour at Heroes' Square, then have a walk in the City Park. We approach the city centre along Andrssy Avenue and we cross the Danube on Chain Bridge. On the Buda side we go up the Castle Hill and visit the Matthias Church and the Fishermen's Bastion.
Danube Bend - Szentendre, Visegrd
North of Budapest the River Danube makes a big curve and continues its way through a narrow valley. This area is spotted with small and lovely riverside towns. One of the most popular one is Szentendre where the streets and the buildings of the town have preserved the 18th-century townscape. We have a walk in the city centre and visit the Marcipan Museum. Then we continue our way along the Danube and visit Visegrd, the Royal Palace from medieval times and the Fortress from where we can have a breathtaking view to the Danube and to the surrounding mountains.
The 'Puszta' - The Great Hungarian Plain
Visit Kecskemt, the capital of the Hungarian Plain and the town of Zoltn Kodly, the famous musician. We have a walk on the Main Square and listen to the famous bell chimes. Then we head for a traditional Hungarian Inn where you can try the special Hungarian spirit, the 'plinka'. We take part in riding in horse-drawn carriages and watch an exciting horse show. You can get familiar with the traditional Hungarian way of living from the 19th century and the traditional species such as the grey kettle and the 'racka' sheep. After the show we have lunch with Gipsy music in the Inn.
Lake Balaton and Herend, the porcelain manufactory
The lake and its surroundings are rich in natural and historical sights. Our first stop is in Tihany where we can have a beautiful panoramic view to the lake, and we visit the Abbey (established in the 11th century). During our short walk in the centre of the town we can see a lot of examples of the region's traditional folk architecture. Then we visit Europe's largest porcelain manufactory in Herend where the creation of traditional porcelain items will be presented.

Visit the "Borderless City" which was always the meeting point of different cultures. During a one-day visit you can get to know the most important highlights of the city. We visit the monuments from the Roman and the Turkish era and the four-towered Cathedral. We have a walk along the beautifully renewed squares and parks, and have a look at the decorative Art Nouveau buildings covered with the famous Zsolnay pyrogranite.
